Emily Mayville is a lab manager and research technician for Fidock lab. Emily earned her Bachelors at the University of Georgia in Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Masters in Immunology of Infectious Diseases at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Her masters thesis was completed with Dr. Rob Moon, studying putative partner proteins of the AMA1 cytoplasmic domain in both P. falciparum and P. knowlesi. Emily intends to pursue a Ph.D. in molecular biology and genetics, to continue investigating molecular components of Plasmodium as potential anti-malarial targets.
